About Us
AbsoluteTerritory.Moe aims to be the largest curated database of anime characters that showcase Zettai Ryoiki; which translates to Absolute Territory in English.
Characters display an Absolute Territory when over-the-knee socks/stockings/boots are paired with a skirt, dress, romper, overalls, bodysuit or shorts. Articles of clothing that do not count include leotards, buruma, bloomers and swimwear. Absolute territory becomes null and void if pantsu or clear nudity is visible.
You may navigate around the website via our search bar at the top of each page or by utilizing the menus on each side: one sorted by Grade and one sorted by year and season an anime premiered. There are also a variety of detailed tags that can be found within each character’s official page.
Note: Character pages are not sorted based on when the absolute territory first appeared. Characters also do not have new pages for every single different anime season, series, or film they appear in. Furthermore, as this site is still ever-evolving, there are still countless characters sporting ZR that haven’t been added to the site. You can navigate to the front page or our Twitter to view the latest character additions to the site.
We currently only allow for Grade S, A and B level absolute territories on our site. Grade B is achieved when the legwear hem is just above the knee. Grade A is achieved when the legwear hem is roughly halfway up the thigh. Grade S is achieved when the character, not only achieves Grade A but, showcases a Tsundere personality and has a Twintail hairstyle. As we expand, we may look into adding Grade C in the future which involves legwear hem that is situated just below the kneecap.
For the sake of keeping this site as SFW as possible, images or GIFs of characters with absolute territory that also include nudity in them are not accepted.
Currently, we do not allow fan art or cosplay photos of anime characters on our site. If a fan art image has been placed on our website by mistake, please get into contact with us so that we may remedy the situation.
In an effort to keep the site free-to-use, we have two funding models we utilize if you’d like to support our site: Google Adsense or our soon-to-be launched shop.
In the future, if and when we plan on expanding the site’s content beyond images and GIFs from anime or its promotional artwork, we will continue to abide our rule against fan creations.
